Vintage National Film Board Case

A vintage carrying case that was used by the National Film Board to carry equipment. This particular case has no film board markings but has "199" stamped on its side, matching another that came with it. It is made of wood with metal on the edges; note that the leather handle is in bad shape (it is held together with electrical tape). The case is 13" wide, 7 1/2" deep and 6 1/8" tall. It was made in the 1950s or earlier -one of the cases I bought with it has a "Union Made ULWIU" on the inside and that union was absorbed by another in 1951.
