Vintage Necklace with Red Jasper Stone

This vintage necklace features a large, oval red jasper pendant. The pendant has a reddish-brown color with darker inclusions, set in a silver-toned setting with a beaded edge. The 25” chain is a delicate, silver-toned link style. Jasper is a type of chalcedony, known for its variety of colors and patterns, and has been used in jewelry for centuries. The new cabochon jasper stone has recently been added to the vintage piece. You will note that the stone is slightly offset and this is reflected in the price. Otherwise, the necklace is in excellent condition.
