Vintage Needle Lace Tray, Inlaid Wood Frame, Antique Textile Art Under Glass, F

This is a truly special tray! It has a wonderful sample of Point De Venise style needle lace enclosed under the glass top. The textile is so intricate with a great mixture of buttonhole and blanket stitches to created the floral pattern. The Wood frame has a delicate inlaid pattern. Handles on each side are attached by screws. I do not know the history of this piece and there are no labels, etc. My guess is circa 1920's. Measurements: 19 1/2" long (including handles) x 11 1/4" wide x 1 1/4" tall. Condition: There are a few "bumps and bruises" consistent with the age of the piece - some wear to the wood. Back is not finished very well. No commercial markings
