Vintage Nepalese Oversized Beaded Sequined jacket Gorgeous colours: teal blue, fuchsia pink, purple, golden yellow, green. Embroidered, beaded, sequined. No missing beads or loose embroidery. I’m not aware of the symbolism but they remind me of landscapes, mountain ranges, horizons. 🌲🗻🌄🌅🌌 C. 1990s. Bought from a nice couple who must’ve been from Nepal. Worn a few times but it was big for me even then. Excellent preloved condition. 100% cotton (nice thick yarn-weave, feels like raw silk). Made in Nepal. They assured me it was all handmade. Back then, I think most things were. Trim is 100% silk. Light shoulder pads. Lined with nylon or polyester. No closures. Pit to pit: 21” Hem: 22” Length from rear neckline: 23” Sleeve length: 22.5” Looks like South American or Peruvian traditional textile aesthetic.
