Vintage Neptune Ceramic Tile 6" Square w/ Cork Backing Handmade Florian Studios

Beautiful vintage "Neptune" ceramic tile Handmade at Florian Studios (now Florian Tiles) in Dorset, England - a family run business which was started in the 1960s Cork backing Measures 6" x 6" x 1/4" thick Ivory with black Neptune design shaded in subtle hues of peach/orange Could be used as a coaster, teapot stand, trivot, etc. or display it as the beautiful art that it is! Handcrafted by making a silkscreen of original artwork, hand screenprinting it onto a bisque tile, hand panting it with underglaze ceramic colors, using transparent glaze and kiln firing it at over 1000'C In very good condition all around! - Some natural crackling to the glaze - No chips or cracks - Cork intact with no gouges or damage - Original stickers still intact on the bottom - Still shows good original color Florian Tiles was still creating this pattern on newer tiles up until a couple of years ago, but this is a beautiful vintage piece for the tile collector!
