Made from the famous canelo (cinnamon) pottery of Tonalá. This wonderful vintage plate is by master potter Nicasio Pajarito from Jalisco Mexico. Nicasio used the traditional method of mixing clay from Rosario to get the cinnamon color. • Barro Canelo technique • Signed on the bottom • 10" diameter  • Ready to hang on a wall or lean on a shelf  Known as a master of Mexico’s folk art, Pajarito received the maximum award given by the President himself to outstanding artistry, The Presidential Award.
