Japanese porcelain produced during the American occupation (1945-1952) is highly sought-after by collectors. This kitschy specimen will delight fans of the genre, as well as those who like a good story to tell. In fact, this planter was abandoned by the son of an English farmer, unaware that it had the power to provide animals with hay at will, as long as a few seeds were placed inside. Of course, it had been given to his father by a Fairy. Unfortunately, the trinket has since lost this power...
Approx. 6,6 x 3 x 3,25 in. It shows vintage crazing on the unpainted surfaces but no cracks or chips.
🧚♀️ From a smoke-free Fairy home.
🧚♂️ Love at first sight on my closet? Whatever struck you claims to be your own ! 🧚♀️
It is well known that a Fairy's lost possession can only be returned to her by a willing Human being. The same goes for objects stolen from Fairies or Humans by prankster elves or other mischievous folks of the Little People.
In the Faeries Realm's Ministry of Orphan Possessions, I head the Unclaimed Property Department. From my sylvan cottage, I order and classify this bazaar, then offer it to you, hoping each gizmo finds its rightful owner, old or new, Human or Fairy.
Here, love at first sight means whatever struck you claims to be your own. Make an offer to adopt it !
✨ Before being sent to you, all items from my cottage are purified with sacred chants. At your request, I can charge them with a particular energy. ✨
