Vintage Oddity Bottle Stopper Kenyan Ebony Wood

This odd vintage hand carved ebony wood piece may be a bottle or apothecary jar stopper. There are no markings on it and it very well may be an original Folk Art antique. It came from an auction that had other wooden carvings marked from Kenya. It measures 3" tall, about 1.5" deep and 1" wide. This dog-like character is excellent vintage condition.
