Vintage One of a Kind Bespoke Tailored suit with detachable 40's style cape

This garment was clearly someone's pride and joy. It is a custom made vintage suit and the quality is absolutely exceptional. The tailoring is just next level. It is made in Vancouver by a custom atelier house - Manuel Mendoza. Mr. Mendoza passed away in 2012 but the business is still open and creating bespoke tailored designs but largely specializing in wedding attire. The jacket and skirt are fully lined. There is some slight damage to the lining of the skirt shown in the last photo but it is very minor, cannot be seen and does not affect the garment negatively in any way. The buttons on the jacket are stunning. The jacket had this brooch pinned on it when I obtained this piece and I believe they should stay together so that item will be included with purchase. There is no fabric tag but this is most certainly a very high quality of wool with a slight boucle pattern to it as you can see in the close up second photo. There are no size tags so please note the measurements carefully. Skirt laying flat waist of 14.5", hips of 20" and length of 34". Jacket pit to pit of 19.5" and length of. 31" from shoulder to hem. The cape is one size fits all. This is an incredible piece suitable for a formal or solemn event. I will say I struggled to price this amazing piece. I have no doubt this cost over $1,000 to have custom made and it is in perfect condition. That said, I am open to reasonable offers.
