Vintage Oneida Community Plate flatware case, wooden 8 person cutlery organizer

A sizeable flatware storage box, the body made of wood, the inside lined in a very light grey linen and a turquoise blue velvet, perfect for storing sterling silver or silver plated flatware to keep them sparkling for years to come! The inside of the lid is marked COMMUNITY in elegant cursive. Very 1950s in look and style and great to compliment a vintage inspired kitchen or dining area. Looks to be for a place setting of 8. The lid has a couple of clips to hold serving pieces. Condition: With some wear to the outside wood, the inside smells a little musty. Size: 15 1/4 x 11 x 3 3/4 inches (39 x 28 x 9.5 cm) weight about 2 kg I have several flatware cases available, have a look in my closet!
