Vintage Optical Glass Pedestal Eye Wash Cup Marked G 8

Vintage eye glass eye wash cup Very interesting item from the past. Used for applying medicine to, or cleaning the eyeball. Great conversation piece! Made of thick pressed glass with a thick rim and a nice pattern of vertical lines running down it from the rim to the base. Marked G 8 underneath, which I believe means it was made by the Gulfport Glass Co. (1955-1970), although I am not an expert
