Vintage Oscar de la Renta Double Breasted Oversized Wool Blazer Unisex Old Money

Gorgeous vintage union-made blazer by Oscar de la Renta. It’s one of those few pieces that was made in Canada by Oscar de la Renta. •dark navy blue, goldish/brass-tone buttons, red lining •double breasted. Unlike a regular double breasted blazer, the blazer buttons-up for only the bottom one. The other buttons are just for looks. •exterior is made with pure virgin wool •pockets •strong shoulder padding This is actually a men’s blazer originally. Tag size states 40 Short - I do find the blazer’s sleeves are definitely short for a regular length men’s blazer - and for some women might be a touch too short as well. The short sleeves makes sense though according to the tag size. Even though this is actually a men’s blazer, it definitely would look great on a woman too for that oversized relaxed feel. You could also wear a belt around the waist to add more definition (**NOTE: belt in listing is not included**) Preloved, some fading to some areas of the lining; a mark on the interior lining; and a faint bit of wear on the back - see pics. In overall great condition. Tag states size 40 Short Measurements (laid flat, approx):shoulders 20”; pit to pit 22”; waist 20”; hips 21”; length of blazer from just under collar to bottom 30.5”; sleeve length23.25” Based on measurements this would fit a size L a bit oversized. Could fit up to a size XL. Pls see measurements for best fit. For reference: model in pics is 5’3” and usually wears size L in blazers but M in other clothing.
