Vintage Pair of Stretch Sleeve Guards

These vintage sleeve guards are made of a silver tone metal and have a nice, even stretch. These pieces confused me at first because they're too big to be bracelets and what the heck is a sleeve guard?? Basically, these are used to hold your sleeves up while you do dishes but ~*~fancy~*~. Each sleeve guard has a pearlescent accent with a small rhinestone above and below each. One of the rhinestones is yellowing, but there are no other issues.
