This 8" egg, made in Western Germany, is from the post-WWII era, likely the 1950s or 60s, as the paper inside says "Made in Western Germany". Crafted in Germany since the late 1800s, paper mâché Easter eggs were traditionally filled with treats. Today, they’re highly sought after by collectors. You can often identify them by opening the egg and examining the paper inside! Very good vintage condition. Paper / graphics are nice and bright. Some wear to two areas, shown in images and circled.
