One-of-a-kind patchwork blazer jacket from Chilean artist Corina Valle. - Rounded neckline - Ornate metallic loop buttons - Embossed black floral lining No material tag but it's a mixed-fabric piece with velvet and tapestry patches. In very good vintage condition with some wear to stitching and cuff. Measurements Size: No tag but fits about medium/large Chest (pit to pit): ~21" Shoulder (stitch to stitch): ~15" Length (from bottom of collar to bottom of hem, along back): ~24“ Sleeve (shoulder stitch to end of cuff, along top): ~23” From Flickr: "A self-taught costume designer, Valle was the first designer in Chile to incorporate patchwork into her designs in the 80's. 25 years later she surprises us with a collection that consists of the reinvention of this technique, mixing the elegance of the baroque with its velvets and brocades, the nobility of the earth's materials with its natural linens and silks, in addition to the chance and at the same time assertive discovery of vintage garment fabrics.
