Vintage Persian Black Velvet Gold Embroidered Tie Belt Polished Stones - OS

This is a beautiful wrap/tie belt perfect to add elegance to any dress or outfit. Eleven multi-coloured polished stones sit atop a black velvet base with satin lining surrounded by elaborate gold embroidery. Soft gold rope can be tied front or back. Google searches suggest this is of Persian origin and the embroidery is called Zardozi. Measurements: Black velvet piece measures 27" x 2.5", each side of the rope is 21". Would fit 27" waist and up. Very good pre-loved vintage condition - there is some minor wear on the rope close to the black part and on the belt itself where the rope attaches. See last 3 pics. Clean, smoke free home.
