Vintage Persian Cats in Basket Cookie Jar - 1970’s Ceramic Canister BC, Canada

This adorable handmade vintage cookie jar is a charming addition to any cat lovers kitchen! Displaying two Persian kittens in a basket, one grey and one white, this large canister is perfect for storing your favorite cookies or other small treats. The kitties are covered in a white and green blanket with three angel motifs. The basket base is beige with a woven wicker design and a handle on either side; there is a very small hairline crack on the edge of the base, however it isn’t overly noticeable. The original sticker tag “Hand Crafted by Cresteramics - Creston, BC, Canada” remains on the bottom - likely produced circa 1970’s. Wonderful retro collectors item! Excellent condition; no chips, repairs, crazing, staining, discolouration, etc. however there is a minor hairline crack in the basket, as seen Measurements: 9 1/4” inches height x 13 7/8” inches length including handles x 9 1/8” inches width Vintage items often have small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
