Vintage Pierre Balmain Long Sleeve Dress

This vintage (70s/80s) dress by Pierre Balmain Paris is made of 100% polyester and can be worn loose or belted. The dress does not come with a belt, so please note the belted pictures were me trying to find the least noticeable thing to use as a belt (in this, a tie). The dress has long sleeves with buttoned cuffs (and covered buttons), a zipper and hook & eye closure at the back of the neck, thin shoulder "padding" inserts, and a folded collar that turns into a front necktie. There are small loops under the arms (or at least one arm) but I'm not sure how that fits in with the dress or style. The dress falls below the knee, and the bold colourful pattern is the same throughout. There is normal vintage wear, but the dress is in good condition overall. This piece is marked as a (vintage) size 20 but, considering the intended fit, measures more like a (modern) size 12/large.
