Vintage Polka Dot Shirtwaist Dress

This dress is a homemade vintage gem. It is very 1950s-styled, but I’m not sure how old it is. I bought it at a cool vintage shop in Toronto. It is very size flexible because of the pleating, the belt-able waist, and the full skirt. It has a side zip, but I have also pulled it on over my head as my size has fluctuated. It is in good vintage condition with some pilling at the underarms and some loose threads at the centre seam around the neckline. Pit-to-pit measurement is 64 cm (25”) laid flat. Waist is 55 cm (21.5”) laid flat. Length from shoulder to hem is 110 cm (43”). Everything in my closet comes from a smoke-free, dog-friendly home.
