bignorthvintage @goldenthyme89 hi! It isn’t separated anywhere I can see. It just appears to be a gap (same on both toes) and the heels sit over the sole the same way. Let me know if you’d like some additional pictures.

bignorthvintage @goldenthyme89 Found them in central Florida where it doesn’t snow. Sorry I don’t know where they came from prior to being found in Florida.
