Scene: A gentleman kneeling in courtship before a fashionable young lady in a broad-brimmed hat, set against a painted pastoral backdrop. Very staged, very Paris studio.
Publisher’s Mark: “C.M.” in the bottom right — a French postcard publisher active around 1905–1915.
