Vintage Pottery Pedastal Vase High Luster Red Body & Salt Glaze Base and Iop 8 1/2" Tall Germany We do not know the maker but previous owner tells us it is a German piece. Art first glance this vase looked to be a Glass and metal and only after handling it does it become evident that it is ceramic with amazing glazing... The main body is glass like ruby red glaze. The base and top look to be a salt glaze...creating a metalic look with hints of rust in the glaze. - Top Opening is  Weighs 3 lbs. Satnds 8 1/2" Tall - Top is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" - Opening is 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" Round base has a 4 3/4" diameter
