@ah_to no I wear a 9 and these fit me (although they are quite snug) so I would say they would fit as 8 1/2 or 9

hmm im less familiar with this platform (others i've had no problem doing USA <> Canada shipping). Could I pay for the shipping difference or is it completely not possible? :S
