Vintage Price Bros. Cottage Ware Collection Handled Cookie Jar or Biscuit Barrel Ceramic hand painted jar features a quaint English country cottage with a thatched roof and a wicker handle. Dated between 1930-60 due to the Price Bros backstamp and pre-1962 when Price Brothers merged with Kensington Potteries to become Price & Kensington Potteries Ltd. Backstamp: Price Bros Made in England Impressed stamp: Ye Olde Cottage Made In England In photo #6 can be seen remnants of a paper label on underside of lid. Also a green paint line can be seen near this label (not a crack). See photos for measurements Very gently pre-loved condition with very little wear. No chips or cracks but does have crazing and staining consistent with age. Smoke free, cat friendly home. IC
