A vintage crucifix that would have been used in parish processions. It was made in 1933 to celebrate the jubilee year marking the 1900th anniversary of Christ's death. There is a plaque on the rear stating, in French, that this was "the first parish action in the holy year of 1933." The nail on Jesus' feet is not original and the cross once had a piece of metal marked "INRI."
The cross is 11 7/8" tall by 6 1/2" in width.
