Vintage Punch Cigar Tin Lily Size

This attractive vintage Punch Cigar Tin originates from the 1950's. It's the Lily size meaning that it held 50 cigars and has beautiful black and gold graphics on each side featuring the brand's mascot Mr. Punch. The orange colour lid with black texture marks has a very tight fit and could still be used as a humidor. Portions of the glued on excise tag remains (as seen in the photos) and though this piece shows some signs from age - with mild surface scratches and a small pinhole in the bottom of the cannister, it's in overall excellent condition in comparison to other humidors of comparable age. It stands 5.5 inches and has the same diameter. Created in the mid-1800s Punch is one of the oldest brands in Cuba's portfolio. Along with the name - Mr. Punch was created, a popular clown mascot that is still featured on the brand's packaging today.
