Vintage Rare HECTOR AGUILAR FOR CORO STERLING SILVER Brooch MEXICO

VTG HECTOR AGUILAR FOR CORO STERLING SILVER PIN MADE IN MEXICO READ This sterling brooch was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta for Hector Aguilar to produce in his Taller Borda. Later CORO commissioned this design . It is called Coro Feathers and is c. 1943 - 1950. ( Silver Masters of Mexico, Penny C. Morrill page 90 ). Marks: Made in Mexico, istamped CORO rectangular indentation with Sterling Measurement: Approximately 2-1/2 inches long and 2-3/16 inches wide Appx 27 Grams It has loads of patina and an antiqued finish. Please see photos that make up the deacription. Note this item is preowned. Nearly 80 yrs old. Condition: Good. Note that long pin in back is slightly bent but functions perfectly. There is a tiny raised dot on back ( see photo with red arrow ) which can be filed down - not visible from front. Needs a light cleaning. J490
