Vintage Red Chanel Barrel Bag This purse has been in a closet for decades and it was very loved in the 80’s. Purchased late 70’s early 80’s Lots of wear and has some marks. Interior is also red leather. One of the bars holding the chain was replaced and does not have the Chanel logo (the three others do) Again, this is a very old vintage purse and is not in perfect condition, but still a beautiful piece Length 14” Height 7”

shopinmycloset1 Can you please post a picture of any interior markings including the interior serial number ?

emclipp @shopinmycloset1 thank you for the message! I believe this purse was purchased by my mom in the late 70’s early 80’s before they started adding serial numbers. There are no interior markings.

shopinmycloset1 @emclipp yes that makes sense for the serial sticker, but just to confirm no interior “Chanel” markings anywhere or “Made in Italy” etc. It might be inside interior pockets as well in case you haven’t already looked. Thanks !

emclipp @shopinmycloset1 unfortunately I have searched every inch of the bag and couldn’t find any markings - I’ve done research on the zippers to make sure they match, but please let me know if you’d like any additional photos of any areas.

emclipp @firouzehd thank you for the message, no it does not, I believe it was made before they started using serial numbers (late 1970’s, early 1980’s)
