Vintage Rhinestone Accent Chain Necklace

This vintage necklace is made of a gold tone chain and has a fold over clasp. The chain is a flat curb chain with a nice width and good weight. The very front of the necklace has a metal sort of V-shaped accent with a large white rhinestone in the center. The necklace has wear throughout including some tone darkening on the underside, a little tone loss on the very edges, and superficial marks in the metal. The only thing I can think of that might affect wearability is that on one side of the front "V" section, one of the links is slightly off and it allows the chain to sit the wrong way twisted backwards. I thought it was permanently twisted, but it was one of those "jiggle it back and it's fine" situations. As you can see in the pictures, it's very capable of lying flat and doesn't move when worn, it might just twist during storage. Despite the wear and how long it sat in a drawer, I'm actually quite impressed at how shiny it is. I couldn't see any stamps or hallmarks, but I've wondered to myself if there is some amount of precious metal in this piece. Since I can't confirm that, it's just speculation.
