Vintage Rideau Plate by Birks Silver Plated 4 Piece Coffee Pot Set Gadroon Shell Recent estate sale find. It belonged to the mother of the middle aged man that was selling it. He said that it was in the family for years. The set includes the coffee pot, tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl. Beautiful pattern, could be a bakelite handle, hand chased. Henry Birks & Sons, Montreal Canada. Rideau Plate is Birks top of the line silver plate collections. Coffee pot is 9 1/4" tall, the tea pot is 6" tall. Gently pre-owned in very good vintage condition, just love the pattern. The coffee and tea pot have stains from serving tea and coffee in them.
