Vintage Riley’s Toffee Tea Tin Canister Jar - Riley Brothers - English Decor

This lovely vintage blue and white metal tea tin canister displays a raised 3D embossed design of angels, cherubs and swans; featuring beautiful ornate art nouveau bands. “Chariot of Venus” and “Apotheosis of Homer” is written on the base, plus the lid features beautiful delicate floral and bow details, and a gold handle. The underside of the base is marked “Riley’s Toffee - Made in England by Riley Brothers - (Halifax) Limited - Halifax - England”. Very similar to the Gray Dunn Wedgewood style canister. This charming lidded jar could be used to store tea bags or even coffee pods today; also makes beautiful decor just resting on a shelf or displayed in any kitchen. Perfect addition for the Wedgwood Jasperware lover!
