Vintage Round Glass Ceiling Light Shade 1940s Faceted Glass Diffuser

From the 40s or 50s, this is a lovely mid-century round glass ceiling light cover / lamp shade. It has painted white sides with clear faceted glass dome facing downward. It would look perfect in a hall or entryway of a period home. Its clean lines would also suit a modern home. It is approximately 6 inches tall and 5 inches across. The inside measurement of the fixture opening is just under 3 1/4 inches and the outside measurement of the fixture opening rim is just under 4 inches across. As this is a vintage shade there may be small scratches in the painted surface. There is some paint missing and some chipping around the rim, but this would be covered by the light fixture. Please look at the photos carefully before buying. Give it a new story to tell.
