Vintage Royal Albert Green Polka Dot Teacup and Saucer

This is a rare and highly collectible teacup and saucer made in England by Royal Albert in a pattern of white polka dots on a green background. AGE: 1940’s. DESCRIPTION: On this Countess shaped cup is a number of white circles or polka dots on a green background. This whimsical pattern continues on the scallop edged saucer. Both pieces are trimmed in gold gilt. CONDITION: This set is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a small amount of wear on the gold gilt trim. There are a number of scratches in the paint on both pieces. There are firing specks in the cup bowl. MEASUREMENTS: Saucer Width: 5 1/2"(14cm) Cup Width: 3 1/8"(8cm) Height: 2 3/4"(7cm)
