Vintage Royal Albert Nova Scotia Tartan Serving Plate.

EUC with no cracks or chips. 10.5” diameter handle to handle, 9” diameter non-handle side. The Nova Scotia Tartan was designed in 1953 by Bessie Murray, President of the Halifax Weavers' Guild, with the help of Isobel MacAulay. The tartan's colors are blue, mid green, dark green, red, white, and yellow. The imagery of this pattern features ribbons of tartan of Nova Scotia anchored by the red lion and shield of the Nova Scotia coat of arms. Pattern made in England during the 1960s and 1970s.
