Vintage Royal Doulton Figurine "Darling" 5 1/4" tall H.N. 1985 by Charles Vyse This figurine was designed by Charles Vyse in 1945 and retired in 1997. During a visit to the Royal Doulton factory, Queen Mary (grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II) picked this piece out and exclaimed "Isn’t he a darling!" Hence it’s name. He is approximately 5 1/4" tall. Good estate condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. This one was probably made in the 1970-1980 era
