Antique Royal Doulton ‘The Kirkwood’ large, round scalloped floral and fruit platter. Decorated with beautiful blue transferware engravings of a fruit basket and flowers which have been hand coloured. This is a very large platter that has a lovely torse shape molded into the porcelain at the border and a gently scalloped edge. The body is a light buttery cream color of glazed porcelain. C 1930 made of the fine quality of Royal Doulton of the period.
