Royal Winton square plate is an English brand known for its earthenware and china, produced by Grimwades Limited. This plate is approximately 9", with its square shape and floral pattern, was often referred to as "chintzware" and was popular in the 1930s. Grimwades Ltd, was founded in 1885 and began producing chintzware in 1928, with "Royal Winton" becoming a recognized trade name soon after.
