Vintage Russian Roly Poly Chime Doll

For your consideration is a vintage Russian roly-poly chime doll, known in Russian as a Nevalyashka. Design: Unlike traditional matryoshka (nesting) dolls which open up to reveal smaller dolls, these roly-poly dolls are made from a single, weighted piece of wood that will wobble and always return upright when pushed. Sound Mechanism: A bell or chime mechanism is encased inside the hollow interior, which creates a soft, musical sound when the doll is moved. It is in good condition, white spots in the photos are due to the reflection of light from the window. It measures 5 1/2" high. Please email with any questions.
