Vintage SARAH COVENTRY brooch/pendant Faux pearl turquoise cabochon Victorian victorian style 'Remembrance' brooch. Original 1968! Great condition Vintage 'Remembrance' brooch/pendant, signed by SARAH COVENTRY, with large faux pearls and turquoise cabochon. Victorian style reinterpreted, original from 1968.

This large, sumptuous brooch is a SARAH COVENTRY signature piece and dates back to 1968.

The brooch/pendant is a gold-tone metal lozenge carved and surface worked to appear studded with marcasite.
The 5 glass cabochons simulate 4 pearls and a large central turquoise; also in simulated turquoise the 'drops' that decorate, in pairs, the space between the pearls.

On the rear of the brooch, in addition to the fully functional round safety clasp, there is a metal buttonhole that allows to use this jewel also as a pendant. 
It's a big brooch, even if it's not loud and it's tasteful, and it's solid and well built, like all SARAH COVENTRY costume jewelry. The brooch weighs 27 g.
