Vintage SET of 7 Royal Crown Derby cake plates, salad plates 1921 - 1940 white

...blue gold floral dinner ware setting An antique set of 7 salad, bread or cake plates by Royal Crown Derby, famous for centuries of outstanding quality. "Around the world Britain is famous for its exquisite craftmanship and iconic design. Since it’s establishment in 1750, Royal Crown Derby has continuously demonstrated the same artistic flair and commitment to crafting the most prestigious fine bone china." This set dates from around the late 1910´s - early 1920s and is only known as pattern 7295 or 7395. It has a fully hand painted floral design in blues, greens and oranges / reds, partially underglaze / partially over, with a patterned blue border and gold trim. With a blue underglaze mark to the back, including a "DERBY" impression mark. Some plates are marked with dates: 1918, 1919, 1922, 1924 It is incredibly pretty, quite classic, and would work really well with an existing minimalist set in stark white. Condition: 6 plates with some marks of age and use, but overall quite clean. Some utensil marks, the gold trim is still really strong on all pieces. No chips, no cracks. The slight difference in coloration is due to the handmade nature of the product. There is 1 plate (the oldest) with a few deeper utensil scratches, but again no chips or cracks and the gold trim is still strong. Size: 6-7/8 inches diameter. (17.5 cm)
