Vintage School Textbook The Work-Play Books Golden Leaves Level 6 Reader

This is a school textbook - a 6th level reader - The Work-Play Books Golden Leaves by Gates and Ayer and published by the MacMillan Company in 1935. It contains excerpts of works by many authors including Sir Walter Scott, Robert L. Stephenson, and Jack London. It is a blue hardcover book with black and orange lettering on the cover and spine. There is also a picture of an Indian riding a horse on the cover. It is full of illustrations and has a short Dictionary at the back of the book. There is some wear and marks to the cover and spine and bumped corners as in the photos. It has a good tight binding. The pages are very clean with no marks that I could find save for some small pencil marks in the margins of one play. Add this book to your own collection or give it as a gift.
