Vintage Ward Brothers Scottish Dirk Brooch — Sterling Silver Thistle Pin — 3” Length
This striking vintage Scottish dirk-style brooch is an authentic Ward Brothers piece from Edinburgh, dating circa 1930–1945. Crafted in sterling silver, it features the iconic thistle motif crowned with a faceted purple glass “amethyst” stone, and beautiful Scottish agate inlays in soft chalcedony and deep carnelian red.
The intricate hand engraving and detailed metalwork are hallmarks of Ward Brothers craftsmanship — one of Scotland’s most respected silversmiths known for their high-quality Celtic and Highland jewelry.
A beautiful accessory for any Scottish outfit, lapel, or tartan sash — and an excellent collector’s piece for lovers of traditional sterling jewelry.
