Vintage Scottish plume brooch in original box (never opened)

This colourful brooch is likely well over 50 years old. Made in the Scottish Highlands, it represents a bird in flight - perhaps a pheasant (though they fly only in short spurts, I understand) or maybe a duck. The brooch measures a little over 2 inches across and still has its protective wrapping within the 3"X4" red plaid box. In pristine condition, with some yellowing of the plastic over the bottom of the box and minor fading of the plaid colours.
