Vintage Senitt Ultra Rare Wrinkles The dog Plush back pack Bag 70s 80s

Vintage Brown Wrinkles dog back pack from the late 1970's made by Senitt This was one of the first Originals before GANZ took over the licensing agreement.  The Original Wrinkles the Dog back pack by Senitt Puppets (Wrinkles was a line of plush toys manufactured by Senitt puppets in the 70's and then Canadian toy manufacturer GANZ in the 1980s. They have been sold as part of Ganz's company's "Heritage Collection in the 80' then the line appears to have been discontinued. The toys were easily identifiable by their characteristic wrinkled faces and were based on the Shar Pei breed of dog. The original design was created by Senitt Puppets, based in Carnarvon, Ontario. Senitt designed and sold hand-made puppets for over twenty years throughout the United States and Canada. Wrinkles was and still is their creation. This is Wrinkles the Dog back pack with adjustable rainbow straps, designed and manufactured by Senitt Puppets. He is made of brown plush. He has black plastic eyes, brown plush nose, and pink tongue and inner ears. The bag is cotton lined in a bright geometric pattern.  Dog bag is approximately 16 x 16 inches long. with adjustable rainbow straps. It is in clean excellent useable condition. It has been stored with smurfs and other 80's Treasures in a cedar trunk. It may smell mildly like cedar. This is a rare find and hand crafted. Tag photo is for information purposes.
