This lovely set of 1960s marbled onyx goblets or chalices are approximately 3,5" tall. Crafted in shades of brown, beige, dark brown, ecru, and orange-red, they are quite lovely. No chips, cracks, or dings. Onyx is a type of chalcedony, which is itself a form of microcrystalline quartz. Onyxes have straight, nearly parallel bands or layers of color, which allow skilled gem carvers to cut away material to create cameos and intaglios with extraordinary depth and contrast! This stone is renowned for being one of the most powerful mediums with which to channel energy, which has made it an excellent choice for healers to use when it comes to emotional, mental, and physical healing!
