Vintage Sewing Basket, Round Wicker, MOD Green, Orange Lining, Notion Supply Or

This vintage sewing basket is so cute and oh so MOD! Made of beige wicker and lined with a bold green and orange print nubby material. The same material is featured on the top of the basket, along with a knotted rope handle. It is just perfect to hold all of your sewing supplies and notions. The lid is tufted with faux pearls so it can be used as a pincushion. There is a plastic tray in the top to hold smaller items and the lid has strings to keep it from falling backwards. Cute little round feet on bottom, toggle clasp closure. Marked "Made in Japan" on bottom, circa late 1960's to 1970's. Measurements: 8 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" diameter. Condition: The eyelet for the rope handle is loose - see photo. Minor wear. No stains, odors, etc.
