Vintage Seymour Mann Hand Crafted Resin African Children (possibly Maasai) Art Statue Home Decor Seymour Mann started as a professional musician in New York on Broadway and in nightclubs and resorts. Mann's wife, Eda, was a well-known artist whose paintings were in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. They entered the world of Asian porcelain together, with Eda as their chief designer. They are best known for their artistic dolls and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Doll Reader magazine. This statue is 2 African children (possibly Maasai dressed in shuka), in traditional garments and adorned with jewellery, holding a baby lamb. Approx. 6.5" tall.
