This coat is too small for the person I was buying it for. The coat is in perfect condition. I could not find a flaw anywhere--in fact it looks like it has never been worn. Lovely beige color and the entire inside of the sleeves are covered in sheepskin as well. Send me an offer.

I think it would be a bit too small as the fur makes it smaller inside than 46" so I think it would be just that bit too small.Thanks for looking!

Hello--I'm so sorry I missed your inquiry--22" means it is 44" across so yes 42 inch chest would fit.

Oops- when a post says 22" across it means half of the garment, from armpit to armpit is 22" so you double that number for the total chest measurement. I hope that is a clearer explanation
