Vintage Silk Evening Dress Suit Set 1940s 2 Piece LEONARD ARKIN Cocktail Party

Lovely silk two piece set from the 40s. Dress features delicate floral motif, velvet detailing, pleat tucks at the waist and bust, darted back bodice and back lower skirt, metal zipper side closure and comes with a matching belt. The Jacket has a darted fitted waist with peplum flare at hips, two faux chest pockets with velvet ribbon detailing, shoulder pads, fabric covered buttons and three quarter sleeves with turn up cuffs. There are minor, faint tide stains under the arms on the dress and one minor mark on the upper front chest of the dress. Please see photos. Sold as presented. Otherwise it is in excellent condition.
