I love homemade angel food cake. Every 2nd Sunday I would make angel food cake - lots of egg whites. Bake it and ice it with whip cream always using different fruit to decorate. I would then go on to make egg yolk cake or egg yolk pound cake. The kids would get cake for dinner and then cake in their lunch for the next few days. It is still a favourite in the family.
